About the event
Alexis will discuss the role of your labor and delivery nurse and give you an idea of what to expect from your Alta Bates birth experience. Topics covered include standard practices, monitoring protocols, birth plans, recoveries, and working cooperatively with doulas.
Alexis has been a L&D nurse at Alta Bates for over 10 years. She is also an integral part of Golden Oak, providing clients with their at-home posptartum visit soon after getting home, and private lactation support at Golden Oak's on-site clinic.
