Medical induction of Labor
This is the discussion that we midwives wish we had time to discuss at length with every client potentially facing a medical induction. What are your fears, thoughts, and the stories you've heard about induction of labor? We will discuss reasons for medical induction, as well as the common methods that Golden Oak Midwives uses to facilitate a successful induction process. What is a foley balloon? Castor oil? And what is Pitocin and how does it work? What if anything can you do to prepare?
